📜 ""... I am writing to all of God's holy people in Philippi who belong to Christ Jesus, including the elders and deacons.""
Philippians 1:1 (NLT)

📋 God sees every true believer in Christ Jesus as a holy person. So, the Apostle Paul refers to the Philippian believers as "... God's holy people in Philippi who belong to Christ Jesus, including the elders and deacons."

Similarly, writing to the believers in Corinth, Paul makes the holiness of believers even clearer: "I am writing to God's church in Corinth, to you who have been called by God to be his own holy people. He made you holy by means of Christ Jesus, just as he did for all people everywhere..." (1 Corinthians 1:2, NLT).

If you are a genuine believer, know that you are a saint, not a sinner. Unfortunately, some Christians continue to refer to themselves as sinners. Those who think that way can easily yield to sin because the Bible says: "What he thinks is what he really is" (Proverbs 23:7 GNT).

If you think you are a sinner, you will sin easily, but if you know and think that you are a saint, you will resist sin and live a life worthy of your calling as God's holy person. God has made believers holy in Christ, but they are not sinlessly perfect. Being holy himself, God commands his children to be holy in all they do (1 Peter 1:15-16).

You are God's holy person, so decide to practise holy living.
