The Global Evangelical Church emphasizes Mission-Evangelism and Discipleship. We are committed to the propagation of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, bringing the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to people and bringing them to the fellowship of the Church. We are committed to the growth of the GLOBAL EVANGELICAL CHURCH and its total outlook in the area of Mission – Evangelism and Discipleship. Conversion is personal and each individual needs to face and deal with it in his/her lifetime. After conversion, there is the need for the process of Discipleship, only through which seasoned Christian can be produced. We therefore encourage individuals as well as congregations and groups to win souls through all forms of Evangelism including house-to-house and personal evangelism. We also disciple souls won to the Lord not only to be well grounded in the faith but also to identify and use their spiritual gifts and other resources effectively.

The Global Evangelical Church is a unique denomination. There are some things that make us unique as a
denomination and these things give us our corporate identity.
Even though all Christian denominations belong in so many ways to universal Christian faith, all of us in
some other ways have our own peculiar histories, names, denominational beliefs, constitutions, church
governance, liturgical expressions and core values.
The Global Evangelical Church as a denomination has a name, a logo, a history, a construction, beliefs,
church governance, liturgical expressions and our core values, which together distinguish us from other
denominations.
As such, the Global Evangelical Church can appropriately be described in nine major ways that give us
our corporate identity:
1. We have a Name
2. We have a Logo
3. We have a History
4. We are Evangelical in Faith
5. We have a Constitution
6. We are Presbyterian by Governance
7. We are Liturgical by Expression
8. We are Global
9. We have Core Christian Value
Core values determine organizational culture, standard of behavior and philosophy of ministry.
The nine major core values of the GLOBAL EVANGELICAL CHURCH are Bible Study, Prayer and Fasting, Missions – Evangelism and Discipleship, Faith, Holiness, Tithing and Offering, Leadership, Music and Social Action.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This
congregation was established on Sunday 1st January 1994 with 110
adults and 48 children; as a branch of the erstwhile E. P. Church of Ghana
under the name Redemption E.P. Church of Ghana, Mamprobi.
Before
our establishment, majority of us were members of the Bible Study and Prayer
Fellowship of the E. P. Church, Mamprobi which is situated behind the Martyrs
of Uganda Roman Catholic Church.
Among
the immediate causes that facilitated the separation and transformation of the
Bible Study and Prayer Fellowship (BSPF), Mamprobi were the constitutional
crisis created by the then Moderator of the E. P. Church, the Rt. Rev.
Professor N. K. Dzobo by his unilateral amendment of the 1979 constitution of
the E. P. Church which could possibly make him the life Moderator of the Church
and the introduction of his infamous “melagbe” theology with its strong
emphasis and attachment to paganism and traditional religion.
