📜 ""But godliness with contentment is a great means of gain.""
1 Timothy 6:6 (ESV)

📋 The desire for more and being dissatisfied with what God has done for us makes some people fall into temptation and (get) trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. Many have followed teachers who are promising wealth and well being but are actually blood-sucking vampires deceiving people.

Our text warns that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows (1 Timothy 6:10).

Today, there are denominations telling their followers that they should not pay tithe because it is evil. However, the same people sell water, hibiscus juice, powder and various substances as spiritual remedies for well-being.

It is sad to note that even some members of Bible believing denominations are lured by these teachings because of the love of money and desire to see miracles. Contentment is an important aspect of our faith in God. That is why the Apostle Paul reminds us that, "Godliness with contentment is a great gain".

We have Christ who meets us at every point of need. Learn to be content with what God is doing for you and remain focused in your walk with him.

Are you satisfied and fulfilled with what Christ has done for you?
Practice contentment.
