📜 ""...I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past. And I trust that my life will bring honor to Christ, whether I live or die. For to me, living means living for Christ ...""
Philippians 1:20-21 (NLT)

📋 It's clear from the Scriptures that God's will is that his children live for Christ. Paul asserts this when he writes: "He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them" (2 Corinthians 5:15).

Paul did not only preach this, but also practised it and testifies to it in today's focus text: ".. I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past. And I trust that my life will bring honour to Christ, whether I live or die. For to me, living means living for Christ ..."

Living for Christ means living a life that brings honour to him. For instance, a person who is committed to living for Christ will strive, through the enablement of the Holy Spirit, to cultivate godly qualities such as love, humility, honesty, faithfulness, and self-control.

Paul was intentional in living for Christ, so he could say, ".. I trust that my life will bring honour to Christ." Living for Christ also means taking a bold stand for him and devoting one's life to serving him wholeheartedly.

Are you committed to living for Christ?
Do you seek to honour and serve him?
