👉🏼 (Reading: Psalm 20:5-9)

📜 ""Now this I know: The LORD gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand.""
Psalm 20:6 (NLT)

📋 By his power, God gives victory to his people King David, who wrote this Psalm, fought and won many battles. Hence, he could affirm this: "Now this I know: The LORD gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand."

One of the most remarkable victories he experienced came when he confronted and killed the giant Goliath in a two -man fight. David trusted God in this fight and God gave him an outstanding victory. When God's people are in trouble and call on him, he answers them from his holy heaven.

Daniel also experienced the reality of this truth. When his enemies conspired against him and got King Darius to sign a decree that banned praying to any god or man except the King for thirty days, Daniel continued his usual three-times-a-day prayers. He must have petitioned God to rescue him. Sure enough, God gave him the victory when he delivered him from the lions' den alive and unharmed.

King Herod put Peter in prison, intending to kill him, but when God's people prayed fervently to God he answered them and miraculously rescued Peter through an angelic visitation.
