📋 God demands all the glory for everything He does for us because He is the source of everything we have. Therefore, we must cultivate the habit of giving God the glory for all our achievements, regardless of the area or level of success.
It is essential to recognise that failing to give God what rightfully and lawfully belongs to Him amounts to robbing Him. We risk attracting His anger and punishment when we neglect to acknowledge God's role in our successes.
A clear example of this can be found in Acts 12:23, which recounts the story of King Herod. He delivered a remarkable speech that captivated his audience, yet he accepted the praise of men for himself instead of giving it to God.
As a result, he was struck down by an angel of the Lord and died instantly. If we fail to give glory to God for the things He has given or done for us, we may face His punishment.
However, when we honour Him with our gratitude, He will bestow even more grace upon us, enabling us to excel even more in all our endeavours.
