📜 ""SILENCES THE ENEMY "And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.""
Acts 4:14 (KJV)
📋 Evidence is the confirmation of our testimonies. People can doubt your words and revile as long as you have nothing to prove your point. But when there is the veracity of your claims, arguments and doubts cease.
Preaching in the name of Jesus can be vague. Talking about Jesus' power to heal can be questioned by sceptics. But when people see the evidence of transformation in your life, they can never doubt your faith in God through Jesus Christ.
Peter and John had healed the cripple at the Beautiful Gate. There was an uproar over the miracle. But the Sanhedrin could not allow the name of Jesus to persist after they had eliminated him (for so they thought). The Council brought Peter and John for questioning.
They questioned the authority by which they acted. Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit answered right. There was evidence that real power had been displayed. Even in their rage, they couldn't do anything about the evidence: the healed man was standing right with the apostles before the Council.
To prove the existence of God, we his worshippers must be proof as we allow him to transform us as evidence to silence the sceptics.
Are people doubting your faith?
Allow God to give them the evidence through you.
