📜 ""Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray..""
James 5:13 (KJV)
📋 A man's life consists of different phases, which start at birth and end with death. Some phases bring moments of joy, where everything seems perfect, while others may bring times of struggle or hardship, where things do not go as expected.
During these moments, God has specific expectations for how believers should respond. The things we must do are written in the word of God, and they are not difficult to find. In times of trouble, God's instruction is clear: we should pray for help and seek the strength of the Holy Spirit.
When faced with affliction. what is your typical response? Do you find yourself sitting in despair, complaining, or blaming God and those around you? Or, do you consider drastic actions? As children of God, we have only one viable option--prayer.
We must pray to God for deliverance because, as the scripture says, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all." We should not allow ourselves to become victims of the challenges we face.
However, we cannot expect God to deliver us from affliction if we do not reach out to him in prayer. That is why it is crucial to pray during our times of trouble.
