📋 The Bible is the complete revelation of God's mind and will for humanity, as he desires us to know him. By reading and applying it to our lives, we can be moulded to conform to the image of his Son, Jesus Christ, and be thoroughly equipped to fulfil every calling and ministry he has ordained for us.
Our focus verse states, "So that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." We have God-given purposes to fulfil on earth, and we can only discover and achieve them by internalizing the word of God and becoming doers of it.
There is power in the word to equip us and enable us to become everything God wants us to be and do on earth. However, it will take our commitment to reading and obeying the word to benefit from its power.
Those who reject and neglect the word of God are, in essence, digging their own graves. They will struggle in life and miss out on the good works God ordained for them. Conversely, those who put the word into practice will find success in life.
