📜 ""Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfilment of the law""
Romans 13:10 (NIV)

📋 Have you ever been so hurt that you felt you had no choice but to confront the offender? Or have you ever decided to retaliate against someone who hurt you? Throughout life, many people will hurt us in one way or the other.

When someone offends or deeply wounds us, how should we respond? Should we retaliate and harbour hatred, or is there a better approach?

Our focus verse reminds us, "Love does no harm to a neighbor." As children of God, filled with his love (Romans 5:5), we must not harbour hatred toward others. Retaliation is not in line with Christ's teachings; instead, we should strive to forgive those who offend us and seek ways to resolve our differences peacefully.

God's love does not contemplate ways to harm others; instead, it focuses on how to uplift and unite people. We should always aim to build each other up in love rather than inflict harm. When we walk in love towards others, we fulfil God's law; as Paul says, love is the fulfilment of the law.

God enjoins us to walk in love towards our loved ones and enemies. It is not going to be easy, but God's grace is sufficient for us to help us.
Do you think about ways to uplift people who have hurt you with their actions?
