πŸ‘‰πŸΌ (Reading: Romans 14:3-18)

πŸ“œ ""…and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted him""
Romans 14:3 (NIV)

πŸ“‹ The Bible teaches us not to judge others, though sinful behaviour by Christians must be condemned and even punished (1 Corinthians 5:9-13).

Our focus verse today advises those weak in faith not to judge those who are strong in it. It states: ".. and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted him."

God accepts those who eat everything out of their faith because their faith is grounded in his word. Just because you lack the belief or faith to do certain things or have chosen not to do them because of your faith, does not mean that someone who has built his/her faith in that area should refrain from doing so.

The Bible encourages those who are weak in faith not to judge the actions of those who are strong in the faith. Each of us, as believers, is driven by our faith in God. The text reminds us that God's word should fully persuade each person regarding their beliefs and actions.

If we could all be fully convinced based on the word of God about what we believe or do, there would be no divisions within the body of Christ.
Do you find yourself judging those who are strong in faith?

πŸ”‘ Key Lesson: Judging people brings about division in the body of Christ.
