📜 ""And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, … Jesus saith unto them, 'Loose him, and let him go.'""
John 11:43-44 (KJV)
📋 Human beings are not God and are often limited by their circumstances. These limitations can sometimes cause a person to arrive too late to assist a neighbour in need However, Jesus Christ is not bound by anything in this world. He is God, the creator of the universe, and is therefore, never too late to help.
Mary and Martha experienced this when they lost their brother, Lazarus. Before their brother's death, they had sent a message to Jesus asking him to come and heal Lazarus. However, Jesus waited two more days before travelling to Bethany. By the time he arrived Lazarus had died and had been buried four days earlier.
Both Mary and Martha told Jesus that if he had come earlier. their brother would not have died. They thought he was too late to help. Despite their concerns, Jesus showed his power by calling Lazarus out of the grave alive and instructing the people to remove his grave clothes and let him go.
This miracle demonstrated that there is no such thing as being late or too late with Jesus. If we have any problems, we can count on Christ to come and help us; he won't be late.
Do you believe that Jesus is never too late to save you?
