📜 ""This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,""
Matthew 6:9 (NIV)

📋 In the chaos of daily life, we often rush into prayer with our needs, anxieties, and desires. However, Jesus teaches us to begin with a simple yet profound truth - God is our Father.

Before we ask for anything, we must acknowledge who he is. Calling God "Father" reminds us of his love, protection, and provision. No matter how overwhelming life becomes, we are not alone.

Our father watches over us, not as a distant ruler, but as a loving parent who longs to guide and strengthen us. He is our father whose name we also hallow. To say, "hallowed be your name" is to honour God above all else. It shifts our focus from our problems to his greatness. When we recognize his holiness, our worries lose their grip on us.

Today, take a moment before asking for anything and simply acknowledge God as your Father and worship him for who he is.

Let this truth anchor your heart before you bring your needs before him. As a father, he cares for you and he is ready to supply your needs.

Do you see God as your heavenly father?

🔑 Key Lesson: God is our heavenly father who loves and cares for his children.

🛐 Meditation and Prayer: My father, I come to you, not just with requests, but in worship. You are holy, faithful, and loving. Help me to trust you more and honour you in all I do.
