📜 ""Don't worry about anything: instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.""
Philippians 4:6 (NLT)

📋 God wants his children to rejoice always, but the troubles and trials of life often bring upon us worry. Our adversities bring fear, concern and anxiety because we often don't know how things will turn out for us.

But in today's focus text. we are admonished not to entertain worry in our lives. How can we overcome worry? The Apostle Peter shows us the way: "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you" (1 Peter 5:7).

The key to overcoming worry is casting them on the Lord through prayer. This is what the Apostle Paul urges us to do in today's anchor text: "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done."

Knowing that God cares about us, we can confidently tell him what our problems and concerns are and ask him to resolve them for us. As long as our requests line up with his will for us, we can expect him to answer us. Hence, by faith, we can thank him for all he has done and all he will do for us.

When we give all our worries to God through prayer, we are assured of God's deep peace.
