📋 In our daily lives, many of us find ourselves in positions of leadership whether as employers, supervisors, parents, older siblings or mentors In today's reading, Apostle Paul urges those in authority to treat their subordinates or the people being led with the same respect kindness, and integrity they expect for themselves.
Leadership then is not about power but responsibility. We are all called to lead with fairness, avoiding threats or favouritism. We are also to guide others with love and grace rather than intimidation.
The Apostle urges us to treat people with dignity while valuing their efforts. Leaders are also admonished to seek God's guidance before we make leadership choices, and to serve with humility, remembering that we all answer to a higher authority--God, who judges without partiality.
When we lead with fairness and in the fear of the Lord, we reflect God's just and loving nature. We create environments where people thrive, relationships are strengthened and God is glorified.
