📜 ""Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me""
Psalm 27:10 (NIV)
📋 Life can sometimes leave us feeling abandoned; and rejection is one of the deepest wounds a person can experience. Rejection is painful which can leave invisible scars that seem impossible to heal.
Whether it's from family, friends, co-workers or society, being cast aside can make us feel unwanted and unworthy. Maybe you've been hurt by those who were supposed to love you most.
Perhaps you've experienced rejection in a relationship, been overlooked for an opportunity, or felt the sting of loneliness even in a crowded room.
In these moments, today's focus verse reminds us of a powerful and comforting promise: "Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me." It implies that even if the people closest to us or the most foundational relationships in our lives fail, God remains faithful. He never will fail us.
When we feel forsaken, unseen or unloved, we can turn to him and he will receive us, not just as acquaintances, but as his precious children. Realise that your worth is not in people's acceptance but in God's unfailing love which is constant, unwavering, all-sufficient and perfect.
Always remember that He is indeed a reliable and a dependable Father.
He never puts those who trust in him to shame.
Rest in His love.
🔑 Key Lesson: No matter who rejects us, God remains our refuge and eternal source of love.
🛐 Meditation and Prayer: Lord, may I constantly rest in your unwavering love for me.
