Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NIV)
📋 I have been on tasks with people who did not give regard to excellence. Worst, to them. there's plenty of time to life to repeat the same assignments forgetting that when death calls they cannot do any of life's duties again.
Today's focus verse reminds us that life is short. and we must make the most of every opportunity. Whether you are a student, an employee, a business person, a parent, etc, God calls you to give your best effort in whatever task is before you.
Are you a chef? Do not neglect the fine details of meal preparation, else your food will be tasteless. Carefully choose the best ingredients and cook with passion and your meal will nourish and be a delight. If you are a teacher, dedicate yourself to your students to impact their lives for generations.
A worker who performs his or her job diligently glorifies God, even in the simplest tasks. Jesus exemplified diligence and commitment in his ministry.
In what areas of your life have you been giving less than your best?
What must you change today? Time, they say, waits for no man.
