The recently concluded Children’s Ministry program was nothing short of extraordinary. From April 15th to 19th, 2026, our young ones took center stage, showcasing their talents and deepening their faith under the theme: “Christ and His Second Coming; Children As God's Effective Tool.” Each evening, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, the atmosphere was charged with excitement, creativity, and spiritual growth.

A Week of Inspiration and Talent

The program featured a dynamic lineup of activities designed to engage and uplift both the children and the audience. From dramatic performances to heartfelt poetry recitals, the children demonstrated their God-given abilities with passion and confidence. The evenings were filled with dance, singing, and powerful spoken word pieces, all centered on the theme of Christ’s return and the role of children in God’s plan.

Highlights from the Program

Each night brought something unique. On Wednesday, April 15th, the children opened with memory verse recitals and poetry, followed by an enlightening talk by Rev. Ephraim Ameko. Thursday continued the momentum with similar performances, reinforcing the message of preparedness and purpose. Friday’s session took a deeper turn with a powerful spoken word segment and an impartation by Rev. Ameko, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended.

Sunday’s Grand Finale

The culmination of the program on Sunday, April 19th, was a morning to remember. Starting at 7:00am and stretching into the afternoon, the children delivered breathtaking recitals, choreography, and a dramatic presentation that brought the theme to life. Rev. Ameko’s closing talk tied everything together, reminding everyone of the urgency and joy of preparing for Christ’s return.

Guiding the Next Generation

Beyond the performances, the program served as a call to action for parents, teachers, and church leaders. It highlighted the importance of nurturing children’s spiritual gifts and equipping them to be effective tools for God’s work. The enthusiasm and dedication displayed by the young participants were a testament to what can be achieved when children are guided with love and purpose.

As we reflect on this unforgettable week, let’s continue to invest in our children, encouraging them to grow in faith and boldness. Their voices, talents, and hearts are vital in spreading the message of Christ’s imminent return. The future of the church is bright when we empower the youngest among us to shine for God’s glory.
