📜 "For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: He puts down one and sets up another"
Psalm 75:6-7 (KJV).
📋 Humans naturally value self promotion, networking, and strategic positioning. However, today's focus verse reminds us that true promotion comes from God. While hard work and diligence are important, our ultimate success depends on God's divine timing and will. Many people exhaust themselves trying to force doors open, manipulating circumstances, or relying on connections sometimes to their hurt. However, God is the one who lifts people up and allows them to step into new m opportunities. If we trust him, we won't have to strive anxiously; instead, we can work faithfully and wait for God's appointed time. Joseph was forgotten in prison, but when God's time came, he was elevated to second-in command in Egypt (Genesis 41:39-44). Likewise, David was tending sheep when God chose him to be king (1 Samuel 16:11-13). Both Joseph and David did their best in their circumstances, while leaving the rest to God. Instead of chasing after recognition, focus on becoming the person God wants you to be, remain faithful where you are, develop your character, and trust that when the right time comes, God will open doors no one can shut. Do you feel overlooked or stuck? Remember that God sees your faithfulness.
