📜 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true… think on these things" Philippians 4:8 (KJV).
📋 A man's life reflects his thoughts because a person's thoughts shape their character. As a Christian, it is essential not to nurture negative thoughts in your mind. Today's focus verse states, . whatsoever things are true think upon these things."
The Holy Spirit instructs us to meditate on what is true. According to our Lord Jesus, the truth is found in God's word (John 17:17). Your meditative practices should be rooted God's word. Unlike human words, which can change and mislead, the word of God remains constant. It has the power to fulfil all that God has promised, provided you meditate on it. Engaging with the truth of God's word will strengthen your spirit and help you grow in faith.
This is why it is crucial to meditate on the truth. Be aware that falsehood may come from the devil, often contradicting God's word. Another source of falsehood is unbelievers or people who do not have a regenerated spirit. The devil controls the minds and thoughts of these people and hence uses them as a channel to spread lies.
However, by renewing your mind with God's word, you will protect yourself from being deceived by these falsehoods. Do you meditate on God's word, which is the truth?
