👉🏼 (Reading: Ecclesiastes 9:1-11)

📜 ""For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.""
Ecclesiastes 9:4 (KJV)

📋 We must praise God for his goodness and the blessing of each new day he grants us. We may have reached a point where we feel there is no hope because we have not yet experienced a significant intervention of God's power in our lives or not achieved what we desired.

Perhaps we have lost a loved one, a job, a car, a house, or something valuable, causing us to believe that we cannot return to our former life of bliss and joy. Our focus verse however states, "For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope" (Ecclesiastes 9:4).

There is hope that what we have lost or aspire to achieve in the future can still be regained. The saying "While there is life there is hope", is a proverb that emphasises that as long as a person is alive, there is always a chance for improvement or recovery.

Instead of focusing on our current struggles, let's see through the eyes of faith and keep hope alive. Like Moses, we must "see him who is invisible" (Hebrews 1:27). Job, despite his suffering, waited on God, and was rewarded with a double portion of everything he had lost.

Do not give up.
There is hope for you.
