📜 "You, LORD, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked"

📋 God is committed to protecting his people especiallv the defenceless and helpless ones. In today's focus verse, David affirms this truth when he writes: "You, LORD, will keep the need, safe and will protect us forever from the wicked."
God loves us and cares about our well-being.
Therefore, he has promised to deliver us from the wicked: "I will make you a wall to this people, a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to rescue and save you … will save you from the hands of the wicked and deliver you from the grasp of the cruel" (Jeremiah 15:20-21).
There are wicked and evil people who delight in destroying others. But the good news for God's people is that our Almighty Father is able to protect us from such wicked people. David testifies to this when he writes: "The wicked lie in wait for the righteous, intent on putting them to death; but the LORD will not leave them in the power of the wicked …" (Psalm 37:32-33).
God is faithful and will protect us forever from the evil one and his wicked agents. Their wicked weapons will not prevail against us for God will not permit them to harm us. He knows how to defend and protect the needy and all who trust in him. Don't be afraid of the wicked; God will protect you forever
