📜 "For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed"
1 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV).

📋 Passover is a significant celebration in the Jewish faith, commemorating God's miraculous deliverance of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt.
The first Passover involved the Israelites sacrificing a lamb and spreading its blood on their doorposts. When the angel of death passed through Egypt, the blood on their doors served as a sign of protection, sparing the Israelites from judgment.
This act of deliverance marked the beginning of a new life for God's people, freed from the oppression of Pharaoh. In the New Testament, Jesus is revealed as the ultimate Passover Lamb. His sacrifice on the cross fulfils the Passover tradition.
Just as the blood of the lamb protected the Israelites, Jesus' blood shed on the cross protects us from the consequences of sin and death. Through his death, we are set free from spiritual slavery, receiving the gift of eternal life. Jesus' sacrifice is the ultimate act of redemption-through his death, we are reconciled to God, and the power of sin is broken.
As we reflect on the true meaning of Passover, let us remember that Jesus' sacrifice is not just a historical event, but a living reality. His blood was shed for our forgiveness, bringing us freedom from sin and its destructive consequences. He is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, and through His sacrifice, we find eternal life.

🔑 Key Lesson: Jesus is the true Passover Lamb whose sacrifice brings salvation to all who believe.

🛐 Meditation and Prayer: Thank you, Jesus, for being the Passover Lamb. Thank you for your sacrifice that brings me forgiveness.
