Psalm 22:27 (ESV)
📋 The Psalmist starts with a lament and ends up disclosing that God is the all-powerful God who deserves the worship of all nations. When we see God in the right light, we have no option but offer him our worship.
The Psalmist says, "I will praise you in a great assembly, I will fulfil my vows in the presence of those who worship you" (v.25, NLT). He also recognises that God has royal power (v.28).
Our worship is an act of submission. reverence and adoration. It is not limited to the one-time event, known to many as worship, which we do during church service when we sing slow-motion songs in adoration, but a lifestyle that puts God above all things.
God deserves honour and reverence in our daily walk and actions. Those who know him fear his majestic power and give him all the glory. Indeed, all nations shall bow before our God because he deserves all honour and praise.
How are you giving honour and worship to your God, the Great I am?
Make your life a sweet flow of worship in every aspect to God.
Give God the honour and respect he deserves.
