📜 ""Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is helpful to me in my ministry""
2 Timothy 4:11 (NIV)

📋 Mark's story is a powerful testimony of God's grace and restoration.

Mark abandoned Paul and Barnabas on a missionary journey, "Paul and his companions sailed from Paphos and came to Perga, a city in Pamphylia, where John Mark left them and went back to Jerusalem" (Acts 13:13).

Later, when Barnabas wanted to give Mark another chance, Paul refused, leading to their separation (Acts 15:37-39). However, years later, in our focus reading, Paul now considers Mark "helpful" for ministry.

This shows that faults and failures are not final with God. Maybe you have experienced setbacks-times when you fell short, made wrong choices, or felt unworthy of God's calling or maybe you started serving but gave up when challenges arose.

Perhaps you walked away from God due to mistakes or discouragement. Mark's story reminds us that God restores those who return to him and he still has a purpose for their lives.

If you've failed or strayed, know this: God is not finished with you! His grace redeems, restores and repositions you for his work.

Have you given up because of past faults and failures?
Will you allow God to restore and use you again?

🔑 Key Lesson: God's grace restores and repositions us for his work when we return to Him.

🛐 Meditation and Prayer: Lord, thank you for your restoring grace. Help me to trust in your plan and remain faithful, even after failure.
