👉(Reading: Ecclesiastes 11:1-11)
📜 "In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper; either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good" Ecclesiastes 11:6 (KJV).
📋 It is said that what goes around comes around. This principle applies to life, and the Bible supports it. It states, "Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days." This means that whatever actions you take today will yield results later in life.
Therefore, as believers, consistently doing good to others is wise. Our actions and words in this life are seeds we sow, which will eventually bear fruit. No one can avoid the effects of the seeds they sow. From the focus verse, we learn that we should sow in the morning and the evening because we do not know which efforts will yield positive results.
If we perform a good deed today and do not receive any reward, we should not become discouraged or vow to stop doing good. It is essential to continue doing good, as one day we will reap the rewards of our efforts. Those who get tired of doing good after seeing no immediate return miss future blessings. However, if we persist in our good actions, one of those deeds may eventually yield a greater harvest. Are you sowing good seeds?
🔑 Key Lesson:When we keep doing good, we reap the results someday.
🛐 Meditation and Prayer: Father, strengthen me to continually do good to others.
