📜 "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples if ye have love one to another" John 13:35 (KJV).
📋 Christ's disciples must be full of love for one another. One essential characteristic that the Lord taught his disciples is their love for fellow believers. Anyone who does not love others but harbours hatred cannot truly be considered a disciple of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught his disciples that the world would recognize them by the love they have for one another, especially for believers. It is crucial for believers to express love for God and toward each other. Do you love other believers? Do you demonstrate this love through both words and actions or only in words? Do you find yourself holding onto hatred for certain individuals in your life?If we cannot forgive those who have wronged us and instead choose to keep our offence against each other, we cannot please the Lord. Jesus emphasised that those who do not love are not true disciples of his. We must forgive everyone who hurts us and choose to live with others love. This way, the world will recognize us as Christ's faithful disciples. Love can be shown in many ways, but most manifest in words (what we say with our mouths) and actions (what we do or act). Do you love people? Learn to love as a true disciple of Christ.
