📜 "…if a man love me, he will keep my words and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him" John 14:23 (KJV).
📋 Christ Jesus commanded his disciples to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). When a person confesses Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, they are born again and considered a new convert. The Lord said, "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father; and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him" (John 14:21, KJV). From our focus verse, Jesus reveals that a true disciple is one who loves him. The proof of this love is found in our obedience to his teachings. In other words, our obedience to the word of God demonstrates our love for Christ. When we obey his word, Jesus and the Father will come and make their home within us, revealing themselves in ways that they do not do to those who do not obey his word. Do you want be recognized as a true disciple of Jesus Christ? If so, it is essential that you consistently obey the word of God. Become a doer of the word today, and you will bear the mark ofa true disciple of Christ. Be a true disciple of Jesus.
