👉(Reading: Matthew 8:8-13)
📜 "The centurion answered and said, Lord, I an not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed" Matthew 8:8 (KJV).
📋 In our text, we see a centurion telling our Lord Jesus not to come to his house, but to speak the word, and his servant, who was sick at home, would be healed (Matthew 8:8). Jesus was surprised by the centurion's words and remarked, "I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel" (verse 10). After Jesus spoke the word, the sick servant was healed at that very hour. This reminds us that it is not the physical presence of Christ that matters, but our faith in his word. Today, if we can believe in his word and have faith like the centurion, the power of the word of God will work effectively in our lives as though Jesus were standing beside us, speaking the same words into our situations. Let us not wait to see Jesus in our dreams or visions before we believe his word. Christ is the word, so let us speak the word, and we will witness the miracles we expect from God. It does not matter who speaks the word as much as it depends on the faith of the one who believes in the power of the word to see God's power delivered through it. Do you believe that the word carries God's power?
🔑 Key Lesson:When we believe in the word, it will deliver the results God has promised us.
🛐 Meditation and Prayer: Father, help me believe your word and speak it always.
