📖 THE WORD OF GRACE

📖 THE WORD OF GRACE

👉🏼 (Reading: Acts 20:30-37)

📜 "And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified"
Acts 20:32 (KJV).

📋 The word of God is also called the word of his grace. God's word is full of grace. It has the grace to lift us when the situations of life have knocked us down, and the grace to empower us for greater works when we desire to live and work for God. This word can revive your spirit, even after you have sinned and repented. It frees you from clinging to your past mistakes and sins, allowing you to focus on the finished work of Jesus on the cross, where he defeated sin by making a one-time-for-all sacrifice (Hebrews 10:10, 14). The word of grace liberates and edifies us, strengthening our spirit so we can receive every inheritance that belongs to us in Christ. This is why Paul's final message to the leaders of the young and growing Ephesian church was a commendation to God and the word of his grace. We need to preach about God's grace so that those who are wounded, depressed, hurt, broken-hearted, insecure, and struggling with feelings of inferiority can find their freedom. In doing so, believers can boldly reach out and claim every inheritance that belongs to them. Do you believe in the word of his grace?
