📜 "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation … " Ephesians 1:13 (KJV).
📋 Human words and writings are subject to change. Human discoveries are inherently limited, as people can only do so much. We can accept these findings as facts until proven otherwise: "facts are true" if they are not refuted by new research.
However, the word of God, as described in our focus verse, is "the word of truth." The word of God is the source of truth. It remains the truth that it is not subject to variation. This means God's word remains the same yesterday, today, and forever. It is unchanging and can be fully trusted and believed for salvation and everything we need in our earthly walk and ministry. Therefore, if the word of God declares that the stripes of Jesus heal you, this is an unchanging truth.
If you believe it wholeheartedly, healing will be your reality. If the scripture instructs you to pay your tithe for God to open the windows of heaven and bless you abundantly, it implies that without paying your tithe, you should not expect such blessings.
We must reach a point where we accept the word of God as an unchangeable truth, and through this acceptance, we will experience more of God's power revealed in our lives. Have you accepted God's word as the truth?
